Hello golfers,
Well what a week to come back to. After a week off skiing in Austria, it's been amazing to come back to a bit of sunshine and golfers back out on the course.
It's great to see you all!!
The greenstaff have been working really hard to get the course into great shape with spring around the corner, and we are now fully open, with trolleys allowed back out onto the course.
If you are in the process of removing the cobwebs from your spring, why not come and have a session with one of our PGA Professionals to make sure you start off the 2016 season with a bang!
Click here to get in touch if you would like to arrange a lesson or fitting with your PGA Pro's here at Eaton.
With the season not far off, freshen up your wardrobe with a brand new article from our club crested collection.
These look and feel great, and are well worth an investment. Just drop into the pro shop and have a look for yourself.
Bag Trade In Offer
Throughout the month of March we are running a cracking pre season offer where we will give you £20 OFF a brand new bag from Callaway or Motocaddy when you trade in your old bag, regardless of its age, brand or condition.
Just drop into the pro shop to find out more.
From time to time we like to share some coaching tips through our newsletters in an effort to help you lower your scores. This week you'll see we're offering some advice on how to effectively escape wet sand - which is somewhat topical, unfortunately.
Being able to adjust to the wintry conditions is a real skill, whether that's playing the ball a little further back in your stance to keep the ball underneath the wind, or adjusting your technique to escape wet sand (below) - so we hope you find these articles useful.
Of course, some one-on-one coaching may be what you need, as we appreciate that putting these tips into practice isn't always that easy, even if they make perfect sense.
We hope you're enjoying your golf no matter what the weather is throwing at you, but do come and see us, or make an enquiry here, if you'd like some assistance. In the meantime, give the tip below a try and next time you end up bunkered in the wet sand, you might not get such a sinking feeling.
