Congratulations to Chris Duckhouse on a fantastic 40 points last Sunday to win the division 1 Men's Stableford. John Boswell squeezed a narrow victory in division 2 with 37 points, while Antony Senior's handicap continues to fall (in line with his weekly lessons) following his victory in division 3 with a 38 point return. That bringis him down a further shot to 17.2.
The Easter running competition gets underway on Friday. For those new members who are not familiar with this competition, it's an individual Stableford run over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Easter. There's a men's and a ladies competition, and members can play 1, 2 or all 3 days with the best score they achieve counting.
Saturday's competition is being played as an optional qualifier for the first time, the other days remain non-qualifying. We hope to see as many of you as usual for the traditional curtain raiser to the season at Eaton.
