It's already Epic!

It's very exciting in the pro shop this week following the arrival of our first three of the brand new Callaway Epic drivers. Those of you who have been watching the golf both from Europe and USA will already have seen the astonishing results being gained by players using this ground breaking advancement in driver and fairway metal technology.

The most amazing of these was witnessed in last week's Qatar Masters where the winner Jeunghun Wang used the 2017 driver from another manufacturer in round 1 to deliver average driving stats of 283 yards and hit 42.9% of fairways. From Friday he then changed to the new Epic Sub Zero to deliver significant increases in both driving distance and accuracy...

All in all an Epic switch that not only helped him earn nearly €390,000, but is yet another example of non-Callaway staff players, like Rory McIlroy changing to the Epic Driver because they believe it is the best driver out there. I've been very busy coaching in the swing room over the last few days helping people get their game in shape ready for the fast approaching start to the 2017 season and it is always fascinating to see how easily some people who have previously neglected their game can move forward with a little bit of instruction.
