Ireland Win The Four Nations...

IrelandThe annual Eaton four nations event last Saturday morning was a keenly contested affair with a full quota of players representing their country.

This is always a fun and Guinness filled day as the photo below shows. Thanks to Russ and Graeme for the organisation and Carol for the food.

Clearly our Ireland team inspired the Irish squad as they put an end to England's Grand Slam hopes later in the day.

It's Still Epic...

So, Callaway's Epic driver is still making all the headlines out on the Tours. Adam Hadwin's form has been astonishing and with Rory nearly winning the Arnold Palmer the brand is out performing everything out there.

The week before last started with Golf Datatech confirming that Callaway had further increased its position as Europe's number one hard goods and ball brand and then finished with Adam Hadwin winning the Valspar Championship. He recorded his first win on Tour with a 14-under total to sneak home by a shot. Hadwin used the same clubs at the Valspar that he shot the 59 in Palm Springs, including a GBB Epic driver and fairway wood, Apex MB irons, Odyssey putter and a Chrome Soft golf ball. Hadwin was very solid with his Odyssey putter all week, holing more than 400 feet of putts over 72 holes (an average of close to six feet per hole). Hadwin's win wasn't the only Callaway win of the weekend. In Japan, not only did Callaway win the overall driver count at the Yokohama PRGR Ladies Cup on the JLPGA, but the winner and five of the top ten had GBB Epic drivers in their bags.

Hadwin's win wasn't the only one for Odyssey on Tour at the weekend, as the winner of the Hero Indian Open also used an Odyssey putter. We saw O-Works gaining popularity in Delhi, with a number of players putting the new models in their bags for the first time, which helped contribute to the biggest Odyssey count we've seen so far this season, up at over 61% and nearly three times more than its nearest competitor.

Callaway Staffer Matteo Manassero showed good signs on returning to form with a tied third finish, whilst there were top ten finishes for David Horsey and Henrik Stenson (Valspar). There were also GBB Epic drivers in the bags of the number one and number two placed players for biggest total driving distance average in India.

Epic Rory made the headlines this week, in the WGC Dell Match play, hitting one of his tee shots yesterday on the par 5 12th hole a massive 410 yards. Okay, it was slightly downhill and down breeze, but even so.

I can't get you out there that far, but if you want to hit it longer and straighter it's an Epic choice. Please see the pro shop team to arrange a fitting.
