Pricing will be £30 per hour, which should be enough time for a two ball to play nine holes on lots of different courses. Not only is it away from the wind and rain it's a great way to keep your game in great shape all the year-round. Here's a photo of the famous 7th hole at Pebble Beach. A new addition
The latest addition to the studio is Graham’s baby, an adjustable slope Zen-style putting green. Designed by our very own Roy Claxton and built by his chief engineer at Claxton International, Gordon. Running at 10.5’ on the stimp metre, it's a great addition to our putting lessons and wider coaching offering.

Putt those extra shots away
Here in the shop, we often get asked for advice for quick fixes on how to cut shots from your round of golf, and I think you'd be surprised just how often the conversation turns to putting.
If you think about it; which club in your bag do you use the most during your round? - Driver? Maybe 10-12 times per round.
- Irons? Maybe 5 times per iron per round.
- Putter? Just about every single hole, often twice or even three times.
There are so many different types of putters; mallet or blade head, thick or thin grip, and different lengths available. Making sure that you're happy and suited to your putter is an absolute no-brainer.
Get in touch with us if you'd like to start cutting shots from your score by starting on the greens. Pop in the pro shop, or contact us here.

New booking system I have recently changed the online system that I use to book lessons. I was one of the first Professional's in the UK to use an online system but this new one is a serious upgrade.
Head over to my website, billtye.co.uk and you can now book lessons with Nick and Graham as well as me.
You can also book the swing studio for practice or full simulation sessions. |
The wait is over Graeme McDowell ended a near-six-year European Tour drought by battling through a blustery final day at Royal Greens Golf and Country Club to win by two from defending champion Dustin Johnson. The likes of Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, and Patrick Reed (along with Dustin Johnson) were just some of the star names skipping the PGA Tour’s stop at the Waste Management Phoenix Open (won by Webb Simpson) in favour of the Saudi International, but none could match McDowell’s winning 12-under-par. The win sees the Northern Irishman move back into the world’s top fifty with one eye firmly on adding to his major tally in 2020.

New drivers, irons and wedges seem to hog the limelight around this time of the year but they would be nothing without a ball to hit. Although often a little overlooked, having the right ball in your armoury is going to give you a big advantage out on the course. |
| Callaway's ERC Soft with Triple Track alignment
|
|
If you're someone who draws a line on their golf ball for putting, Callaway's Triple Track alignment may well be right up your street.
The three lines are adopted from something known as Vernier Visual Acuity, which is the same science behind guiding planes to land on aircraft carriers.
|
That makes it sound rather complicated but essentially it'll help you to line up your putter more accurately every time. Remember, we are always on hand to help advise you with your game so pop in anytime and whilst you’re at it, grab a box of Callaway’s ERC Soft balls.
