Finally we’re back playing golf, hurrah! Obviously we have ‘the new normal’ but the board have put in place a series of measures that are working perfectly, giving everyone that wants to the opportunity. A reminder, you can only play at Eaton, at the moment if you are a member. No visitors are currently allowed, which highlights the value of a membership at our wonderful club. We have had 26 applications to join in the last week, so, clearly we are doing things right! Wasn’t it different watching as McIlroy and co teed it up on Sunday in a special fundraising event in Florida? Not the greatest spectical, but a great way to raise some money for charity! Your club pro shop is open for business and I’d like to thank those of you who are supporting us. Remember, we price match everything online, so there really is no reason to buy your golf gear anywhere else. Everything is available from stock on a Click & Collect basis, with payment by card, BACS or pro shop account. We are also able to place orders for items not in stock, with most of the golf companies back open, albeit in a reduced capacity. Scottish companies excepted. Lessons are available, one-on-one, and Graham and I have been busy already particularly with lessons before play and lessons on the course. Custom fittings are also available (thanks Terry for being the first one since lockdown was lifted) with strict social distancing and sanitising of all clubs and all fittings being done outside rather than in the studio. I’ve included a video this week showcasing some of the craziest moments to have ever happened on the PGA Tour and is well worth scrolling down this newsletter for a watch. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of this week’s newsletter, Bill.
