These clubs simply feel superb

There are plenty of amazing feelings that come with playing golf. One of them is when you land a green on a tricky par 3.
These shorter holes are incredibly scenic with the flag tantalizingly within our reach from the tee. We also get a greater sense of ‘risk and reward’ by going for the green with our first shot, often you either make it and have a nice birdie putt lined up, or you’re scrambling to secure a bogey.
When you do land the green from the tee, it’s a great view admiring where your ball’s come to rest and a great feeling knowing you’ll only need your putter to close out the hole. You end up strolling off the green feeling like you’re playing golf properly and walk onto the next tee with your head held high.
If you want to be feeling on top of your game more often in 2026, we’d recommend you get a regular training routine together, but you really want to make sure you’re playing with the right irons for you in the first place.
Here in the pro shop, we’ll be able to take a look at how you approach the ball, taking into account multiple factors such as your swing speed and general ability to recommend you a set of irons that best fits your game.
There’s certainly a lot to be said about the brand-new clubs from Callaway too. These clubs look stunning, feel great, and will definitely help you play better golf this year.
Callaway Quantum Max – An excellent game-improvement iron
The brand-new Quantum Max irons are Callaway’s primary game-improvement irons for 2026. They offer a more traditional cavity-back design focused on ease of use, high launch, and huge forgiveness. Ideal for mid to high handicap players, the standard Quantum Max iron is packed with tech to help you land more greens in regulation and conquer the golf course.

Callaway has given this club a modern two-piece construction that pushes the weld line back, allowing for more extreme perimeter weighting and more face flexion for faster ball speeds. The face has been optimised to maintain spin on off-center strikes, and a progressive sole design ensures a smooth transition through turf. This is overall a fantastic iron that will really benefit mid-to-high handicap players.
Callaway Quantum Max OS – A confidence builder for novice players
The new Quantum Max also comes in a oversized variation. Callaway has implemented just as much painstakingly detailed craftsmanship when designing the Quantum Max OS. This iron has a larger, more confidence-inspiring shaping to help novice players make more meaningful connections with the ball on each and every strike.

Featuring a lot of the same great tech as is found in the standard Quantum Max, the Quantum Max OS has a larger footprint to make the ball look easier to hit when standing at address. While the standard Max offers a slightly more penetrating trajectory, the Max OS produces a higher, softer-landing flight. This is a superb golf club that will help novice golfers build up their confidence and produce higher, longer iron shots.

Callaway's Apex irons
If you’re a skilled player and you’re looking to shake up your equipment for the coming season, you’ll appreciate everything about Callaway’s Apex range of irons. Both models feature a one-piece construction forged from 1025 carbon steel, providing a luxurious feel on every strike.

The Apex MB is a pure muscleback blade crafted for elite players that demand absolute workability and precision. With a razor-thin topline, minimal offset, and compact blade length, this iron provides the most direct feedback and allows for total control over trajectory and shot shape. This behemoth of an iron will reward the discerning low-handicap golfer.
The Apex CB provides a tour-inspired cavity back design that mirrors the sleek aesthetics of a blade while offering more forgiveness over it’s twin. It utilizes the same one-piece forging and dynamic sole design, but with a slightly higher stability on off-center strikes. This makes it a favourite for the long-iron section of a combo set, where a touch of extra forgiveness is often welcomes without sacrificing a pro-level profile.

If you’re thinking of making a switching the clubs that currently line your bag, we’re ready and available to help you find your ideal irons for the year ahead. You can always find us in the pro shop.
